In my last blog post, I talked about the importance of education in helping to lower the chances of exploitation of women and children. Now, I invite you to watch Malala Yousafzai’s Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech, in which she takes several moments to address the importance of children’s rights, rights to education, and women’s rights. She makes a call to action, of taking action NOW. Watch her inspiring speech:

World Vision has a Girls and Education Fund to assist women and girls around the world with getting a quality and equal education. Visit their website to learn more and to donate.
Consider getting involved with Fair Trade organizations, like Krochet Kids or Grounds for Change to help third world entrepreneurs, or sponsor business loans to women in third world countries through World Vision.
