MEET THE ARTIST
Stephanie Oplinger is a Pittsburgh based multi-disciplinary visual artist.
She works not only with painting but also sculpture and printmaking. Her work explores themes and connections between narrative images, feminine power, and divine mysteries.
Drawing inspiration from the Pre-Raphaelites, her paintings evoke dreamlike scenes of human figures communing with nature and the cosmos.
Oplinger’s work has received many award, including an award from the State Museum of Pennsylvania, and her work is installed at the Westmoreland County Museum of American Art.
