I’m excited to share that I’ve been accepted into Shiftwork’s Pittsburgh Creative Corps, a juried program that supports artists working in public art and community-based creative projects throughout southwestern Pennsylvania. As part of this acceptance, I’m now included in the Pittsburgh Creative Corps Artist Directory, a pre-qualified roster of artists available for public art commissions, civic projects, and community partnerships.
The Pittsburgh Creative Corps was originally launched in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to support artists while activating public spaces through creative work. Since then, it has evolved into an ongoing initiative that connects artists with municipalities, nonprofits, and organizations seeking meaningful, community-centered public art projects.
Being accepted into this juried directory is an important step in my professional practice, particularly as I continue expanding my work beyond gallery spaces and into the public realm. Public art has become an increasingly central focus of my work—creating sculptures and installations that engage directly with shared spaces, lived experiences, and collective storytelling.

My current pursuit of an MFA in Sculpture is deeply connected to this direction. Through my graduate studies, I’m developing the technical, conceptual, and material skills needed for large-scale, site-responsive, and durable public artworks. Programs like the Pittsburgh Creative Corps align directly with this goal, supporting artists who are invested in both artistic excellence and community engagement.
I’m grateful to be included among so many talented regional artists and look forward to future public art opportunities that may grow from this program. This acceptance represents an exciting step forward in my ongoing commitment to accessible, impactful, and community-driven art.
